Conspiring to destroy or to create better futures
I am passing on this link to an article which was sent to me through an alternative education forum. I don’t know if this would fit any of the topics that are coming up in our Vision 2020 group in the next sessions, but it definitely feels relevant and discusses the different mindsets pushing their views on social media platforms.
Sohail Inayatullah wrote this very insightful, humorous and thought provoking piece on conspiracy theories that have become especially exacerbated during this pandemic - he was asked by Unesco to write it :-). A very interesting read!
I was astounded when I got in touch with an American nurse friend of mine who lives in Texas a couple of months ago when she told me that "no-one believes the news in Austin related to Co-vid as they believe it is all a conspiracy theory." Even when she had seen some cases in her hospital, she didn’t really believe that there was a global pandemic. I am curious to know whether her situation and beliefs have changed in the last weeks - but haven’t heard from her in a while now - no doubt she is run off her feet now dealing with patients.

Extinction and the Revolution of Love
I am finding Charles Eisenstein's work incredibly interesting, putting words to many things I have felt and intuited for some time about the mainstream climate narrative.
I think you will find it resonates. His latest essay "Extinction and the Revolution of Love" provides a great overview of his recent book "Climate, a new Story".
